It's been such a headache lately. And it's not just because my sinuses are acting up due to all the pollen in the air...
I've applying for so many jobs lately and one job in particular I thought I had in the bag, so to speak.
I had gone through all the interviews, all the testing, even a physical. I was told I had a good [a real good] chance of starting on May 4th. So I waited, and waited and once May 5th came around, I called and asked about the job.
They took 50 and I was 51. I have another chance in August.
How depressing. I really had my hopes ups...
So, I've been down the past few days, hence the delay in my journal and features.
I'm back on the blackboard, trying to figure out something, a plan B if you will. Jobs are rare in Cleveland [good ones that is] but I'll keep trying.
In the meantime, I'm still selling vintage clothing on eBay [link] and Etsy [link] [I'll give a 20% discount on any orders to DA folks, if your interested] and hitting flea markets and estate sales in the days to come.
On a brighter note, I did get commissioned to do some photography for the democratic headquarters. Maybe I'll make it as a real artist...a starving one, yes.
