I got board again and started shooting just random flowers in random gardens just before it began to rain. For some time I wanted to shoot flowers in B&W so I gave it a whirl.
I feel like I went all Ansel Adams on this. LOL! Okay, that's giving me waaay too much credit!

This is such a lovely image. Nice work :) I love your choice of composition, my one suggestion would be to have given it a little more space on the right hand side, it's very close to cutting off one of the petals, a few more millimetres would do it! But that's a very minor thing, the image is still very nice!
I did crop it a bit ... hum, I might re-look into that, cuz I think you might be right. Thanks hun!
